Reminders/Updates

  • This is the last week for afterschool LEAD clubs.
  • If you have moved or know that you are not returning to Camarena, please contact the front office to complete the withdrawal paperwork.
  • Check with your child’s teacher for any end of the year activities.

This survey is only for students who participated in a LEAD program for the 2023/24 school year.

As the school year comes to an end, we’d greatly appreciate that you complete the survey below by June 3, 2024, in order to help us make improvements for the next school year.  LEAD Program Survey Link

YMCA Character Builders Registration 2024-2025

Character Builders is an affordable way to ensure your child is in a safe, low ratio, fun, and supportive environment while offering times for working families. Each day includes activities to help students learn, build life skills, and develop healthy relationships — including STEAM projects, games, homework support, mindfulness activities and more! Y staff are trained to focus on social emotional learning and have Behavior Support Resources to ensure the wellbeing of each student.  Scholarships are available for families that qualify and they accept 3rd party Child Care Aware Fee for the Military.

Medication Pick Up

Please pick up your child’s medication in the Health Office by the close of the last day of school (June 5, 2024). Medications not picked up will be discarded as per the directive of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction. A new medication form, completed by the physician and signed by the parent/guardian, is needed for the coming school year. Bring the completed form and the medication as packaged by the pharmacy to school at the beginning of next school year. Please check the expiration date to be sure medication is current for the next school year. Administer meds parent request

PTA Summer Bash/Camarena Anniversary 

Come join the Camarena community for our end of year summer bash and celebrate 11 years of “Uniqueness”!

  • Guest Speakers @3:45
  • Music Performances @4:00
  • Dance performances @4:30

Bring a blanket, picnic on the field, enjoy time with family and friends.
