General Reminders/Updates

• Registration for the 4th quarter LEAD program will begin February 21-28, closing at midnight.  Please be advised, registering for the program does not guarantee your child a spot within the program.  You must register each quarter for clubs, unless it is an “invitation” only club.

Kids Heart Challenge

Kids Heart Challenge celebration party is ending soon and we are so proud of our students and families for creating a community of lifesavers! If you already registered, THANK YOU! If you haven’t yet, there is still time! Help your child(ren) register by and they will receive the FREE KHC wristband! Thank you for your support and helping to fight heart disease and stroke!

• Each student in the classroom with the highest participation (or first to reach 100%) will receive a special gift and an extra CLASS PARTY! Plus, their teacher will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card! Current Standings

  • We are 38 students away from the Ice Bucket and $500 of recess equipment.

Fundraising:

• If our fundraising goal is reached, the top 5 fundraisers will get to PIE our principal, assistant principal, and volunteering teachers in the face

TK/Kinder Virtual Townhall Meeting

Do you have a child ready to start transitional kindergarten or kindergarten next school year? The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) offers online registration starting February 14, 2024, to help families prepare for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.

To register, your child must turn five years old from September 2, 2024, through April 2, 2025, for transitional kindergarten. Your child must turn five for kindergarten on or before September 1, 2024.

Incoming Kindergarten 2024-2025

Attention, incoming Kindergarten parents for 2024 – 2025 school year!  Kinder teachers would love to meet with your child to do a pre-assessment in order to insure that your child has the best educational experience possible. CVESD Share the Love

CVESD is hosting its second annual Share the Love Campaign for February! We encourage staff, students, parents/guardians, and community members to share a positive story about a staff member with us. If you have been inspired, if someone has made a difference in your life, or if there is an extraordinary situation that exemplified our core beliefs, submit a nomination today by clicking here and clicking on “Share the Love” at the bottom of the page. All nominations entered may be featured on the district’s social media, newsletters, or website.
