Happy Mother’s Day
A message from the Superintendent
The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) prioritizes our school communities’ opinions, perceptions, and needs. As part of our continued efforts to serve all our students, families, and staff members, we need your feedback on your current priorities and needs from our District.
We are partnering with an education market research firm, Hanover Research, to conduct a short survey to help us understand how the 2022-23 school year went and your priorities and needs for the 2023-24 school year. We invite you to participate in the end-of-the-year survey between May 9 and May 23, 2023. Your responses are anonymous and will be kept confidential. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
You can participate by clicking the link to the survey here. The data from the survey will help us inform our next steps to best serve the CVESD community. Thank you for your participation. If there are any questions about the survey, please contact your school site principal.
Safety Reminders
- The summer days are feeling great and we have had an increase of dogs on campus. I know it is a great way to get a dog walk in on the way to and from school, but please remember dogs are not allowed on campus. If you choose to walk your dog, please wait at the corner of the campus.
- The bus loop is not a student drop off. Please do not drop off students in the bus loop, this area is reserved for special transportation only.
- The gates are locked at 8:15 daily.
- The back parking lot is for staff only.
School Wide Expectations
- Congratulations to Ms. Lidstone’s class for earning 20 Robo class tickets! They will receive popcorn and an extra recess.
- If any adults are available on Fridays from 8:30-10:30 to help with the prize cart, please email krista.cardenas@cvesd.org
