Fill | Interest in a CVESD Virtual Academy Next School Year Interés en una Academia Virtual de CVESD el próximo año escolar Dear Parent/Guardian: With the beginning of in-person hybrid instruction recently, it is important to note that more than 40 percent of our students remain in distance learning. Yet, the distance learning instructional format is scheduled to expire at the end of the current 2020-21 school year, in accordance with California law. Governor Gavin Newsom has announced that the state is preparing for a full reopening of California’s economy on June 15—ending the “tier” system of restrictions that also impacted schools. While we look forward to bringing all of our staff members and students back for traditional in-person instruction for the 2021-22 school year in late July, we are aware of parent interest in their children continuing in an online instructional model, similar to this year’s distance learning model. In order to provide such an educational option for our students/families, our District is exploring development of a virtual scforms.office.com
