Monday, November 11 No School in honor of all of our Veterans who have served our country.  As a way showing our support we would like to encourage our students to write “Thank You” letters for our servicemen and women as part of channel 93.3 Big Thank You Campaign for Veterans.  All letters can be dropped off at the school office no later than Friday, November 19.  The school with the most letters will receive a complimentary lunch from radio station 93.3.

Federal Survey Cards were sent home last week and we need everyone to please take time and complete these cards and return to the school no later than Friday, November 15.  Our school funding depends on this information!

Girl Scout Troop 5097 is sponsoring a Seed Drive to support our school garden.  Donations can be dropped off in the school office now through December 5th.

Camarena Elementary School is offering a Guitar and Ukulele Mentoring program after school for 4-6 grade students beginning November19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays of VAPA weeks from 3:00-4:00pm in room 407. Students are welcome to bring their own instruments, or use one from school. There are 20 spots available, first served basis. For more information contact Mr. Collins at bradley.collins@cvesd.org.

FYI – Eastlake High School area may experience some traffic delays due to construction beginning November 12 – February.
