Thank you to our PTA and everyone else who showed our staff so much appreciation for what they do for our children.  You are the best!

Yearbooks are in and will be distributed Monday afternoon.  Please note that students may not write/sign on each others clothing or bodies.

Wednesday, June 5 is the last day of school and it is a Minimum Day.  Students in Kindergarten are dismissed at 1:00 pm and all other students are dismissed at 1:15 pm.

Please turn in all library books, pay cafeteria bills, and claim lost and found items no later than the close of Wednesday, June 5.  Students may not be placed on a class list for next year if there are any outstanding cafeteria bills and/or library books.

Residency Verification Reminder  All students must prove residency before being placed on a class list for next school year.  Click Here for What to Bring. 

It’s time for our annual  Hanover Customer Satisfaction Survey. Please take a few moments and let us know how we are doing.  The survey closes this Wednesday, June 5, 2019.  Thank you!

The School Office will be closed for the summer Friday, June 14 at 4:00 pm.  The Office will re-open Thursday, July 11.

Friday, July 19 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Find out who your child’s teacher is at our “Meet the Teacher” night here on the Camarena playground blacktop!  PTA will also be on hand to discuss opportunities for volunteering for various activities and events.  Please note that only students who have completed residency verification will be placed on a class list.

July 22 at 8:15 am is the First Day of School for students in grades 1-6 and is a Minimum Day (Dismissal is 1:15 pm).

  • All incoming Kindergarten students will report to the auditorium at 8:30 am – 10:30 am for a Kindergarten Orientation.  Please note that Kinders will be dismissed to go home with their parents after orientation.  Kindergarten students will also be on a Minimum Day schedule the first week of school – dismissal at 1:00 pm.   Beginning July 29 Kindergarten students will be on the regular daily schedule (8:15 am – 2:30 pm Monday – Thursday and 1:30 pm dismissal every Friday).

Also, on July 22 all grades levels will have two sessions for their Curriculum Overview Parent Inservices as follows:

  • 1:30 pm or 2:00 pm Grades 1 & 2
  • 2:45 pm or 3:15 pm Grades 3 & 4
  • 4:00 pm or 4:30 pm Grades 5 & 6

On July 25 there will be two Parent Academy and Volunteer In-services.  You can choose either 8:30 am or 6:00 pm and find out about the school rules, school safety, volunteering and more.  Please note that for safety reasons no visitors or volunteers are allowed on campus during the instructional day the first 2 weeks of school.  Visitors and volunteers will be allowed on campus beginning Monday, August 5.
